The Founder

A globally informed approach to timeless living.

Studio INKAA was founded by Rima Sachdeva, whose approach to design is shaped by both architectural discipline and a deep sensitivity to how spaces make people feel.

Having known from a young age that she wanted to pursue architecture, Rima went on to study at Carnegie Mellon University, where she completed a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree alongside a minor in Business Administration.

Her education emphasized not only technical and spatial thinking, but also the relationship between people, atmosphere, and the built environment — principles that continue to define Studio INKAA today.

During her studies, Rima also completed a six-month study abroad program in Barcelona, where exposure to European architecture, materiality, and slower, more intentional ways of living further shaped her design perspective. The experience deepened her appreciation for spaces that balance timelessness with emotion — interiors that feel understated, layered, and deeply connected to their surroundings.

Today, Studio INKAA reflects this balance of global influence and personal sensitivity. The studio creates homes rooted in restraint, warmth, and thoughtful detail, with a focus on how people truly live within a space rather than simply how it appears.

Every project begins with listening — understanding a client’s routines, aspirations, and emotional connection to home — before translating that into spaces designed to feel calm, enduring, and deeply personal.
